Alone at last. And you know what, I’m glad you’re here. Finally, we have a chance to talk, about me.
After graduating from UCLA, I began my career working in politics, then went on to get my masters from VCU Adcenter and embarked on a career in advertising. Is any of this important? Not really, but I do like to talk about UCLA sports a lot, and advertising, and politics, a whole bunch of other stuff too. Stand-up, travelly-type stuff, movies, literature, smoked meats, Scandinavian furniture, the future! We’re gonna have so much to talk about.
I’ve worked for two decades, both staff and freelance, at all sorts of great places like: 180, Deutsch, 72andSunny, TBWA Chiat/Day LA and NY, BBH LA, Preacher, Saatchi, Leo Burnett and a lot of others, on all sorts of brands including: Expedia, DIRECTV, VW, HBO, Facebook Connectivity, X-The Moonshot Factory (formerly Google X), Google, Adidas, HP, Toyota, Samsung, Taco Bell, Disney/Pixar, Target, Pizza Hut, Miller Lite, BNY/Mellon, Energizer and many more. That’s a long list. It makes me feel old. But I love being able to continue to work and learn across so many industries and mediums; it’s what makes this crazy-ass business fun and challenging after all these years.
Where was I, requisite bio bragging, right. I’ve been lucky enough to have some of my work recognized by: Cannes, One Show, Eurobest, Clios, AICP, Webbys, Lürzer’s Archive, Communications Arts across film, digital, craft, mobile, print, radio, newspaper, most forms of media known to mankind.
